Wenatchee (THAT) 2006

OLY GOES TO WENATCHEE! Oly frisbee 2006 go off to a great start. Day one, running new offenses and an improved zone, Oly beat Wenatchee's hometown team, but lost to a couple of Seattle and Portland teams. On day two, in the rain and the mudpit, Oly won the first game of the B-pool but lost a close one in the semifinals. A great team performance in this first tournament. 2-4 overall, but a big improvement over our last tournament, and things are looking up!

Plays of the Day (in no particular order): Molly's Southern etiquette polite defensive tap. The three old men - Jim, Santana, and Ron -- with the help of four women, score against an incredible tough Idaho allstar team.

Stuart's layout bid, no not that one, the other one, the fifth one in the third game. Jim's layout catch on the first point. Beth's throw to Jen for the score in the B-pool quarterfinals. Andrew's Callahan for a score (Ok, ok, it was a callahan against me, but I bet it made the other team's play of the day.) Victor's diving D, man that guy hustled all day long.

Jessee's er, "unique" use of plastic cups (editor's note: sorry, no pictures). There were more, but I can't remember them.
