Congratulations to Evergreen Ultimate and Pura Vida

In their very first year of existence, Evergreen Ultimate took the spring league by storm, winning a very hard fought and close final game to become our 2008 Spring League Champions. With a combination of patience on offense and tenacity on defense, they overcame a previously undefeated team, The Scissor Hands. Pura Vida won the other finals game to become our B pool Champions. Thanks to all players who participated for making this another successful season.

		6th Annual Olympia Mixed Gender (Co-ed) Ultimate Frisbee Spring League We'll play Sundays, at 3:30 or 5:30 in the afternoon @ LBA Park from April 13 - June 8, 2008 Ages: 16 & Older Fee: $25 per person Sign up deadline: Friday, April 4th, 2008 To sign up, print the registration form and the evaluation form, fill them out, and send them in with a $25 check (payable to City of Olympia) to: Olympia Parks, Art, & Recreation Dept. 222 Columbia St. NW, Olympia, WA 98501 Or call (360) 753-8380 and pay by credit card. You can also print our flyer to share with your friends and co-workers. Games are played with seven players on each team. Please note that teams will have enough players to account for missed games due to vacation, etc. We'll also have a postseason tournament on June 8th. Details

When?

The league will begin Sunday, April 13th, and run for nine weeks. We will play every Sunday afternoon, with two time slots, so your game will be either at 3:30 p.m. or 5:30 p.m.

What should I Bring?

Bring water, and the right color shirt for your team (on the first day, bring a light colored shirt and a dark colored shirt). It is a very good idea for both performance and safety to wear cleated shoes (such as those for soccer or football).
